It is the final day of the Year and I was hoping to do a big New Year’s post. Instead I’m just going to share this image I took on our recent trip to Scotland (click to enlarge photo).
I grew up on a golf course and spent the majority of my time between the age of 10-18 on the golf course practicing and playing. When we started planning our trip to Scotland I knew one stop would be to the see the Old Course at St. Andrews, one of the oldest courses in the world and to many the home of golf. Unfortunately this trip was more for the photography than golf so I didn’t get to play but I did get to walk around the course a bit and witness a stunning sunset on the hallowed grounds. The image above is of the 18th hold looking from the Tee Box to the Green at the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse
I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!
