A trip to Proxy Falls

A long exposure photograph of the water flowing through proxy falls in Oregon.

Last week I got to knock off a bucket list photo for me. I’ve always wanted to go and photograph Proxy Falls, located about an hour east of Eugene, Oregon. I am really proud of the final results, and this might be one of my favorite waterfall photos I have ever taken. I titled this image “Enlightened Waters” to try and convey the feeling I get when I look at this image. I shot this while standing knee deep in the creek. The water was cold but the air had a coolness that was quite refreshing. The road to the waterfall is closed part of the year, but if you get a chance I highly recommend making the trip because this is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever been to in Oregon.

This is available in my fine art print shop  I have some standard sizes and options listed. I think this print would look amazing as a signature custom print under acrylic or on metal. It would be a great focal piece for an office, bar, or living room. Please contact me if your interested – ([email protected]).
