Slide Layout – Print Shop Sale!

For a while now I’ve been a bit unhappy with the homepage of my website. It felt a little too cluttered and the images I was most proud of weren’t making it to the front. Well, now after about a week of tinkering I have updated the homepage on my site to have a cleaner look. The gallery is gone and moved to it’s own page. In its place I have put a large “slideshow” of images that will change every few seconds. I really like this new look; it simplifies my homepage and puts my favorite images big and bold, making it easier to share with you.

I’m very excited with the new homepage layout and to celebrate all of the metallic photo prints in the print shop are on sale with reduced prices. You can now get a 8 x 12 print on metallic photo paper for $40 and a 12″ x 18″ metallic print for $80. I’ve also reduced the shipping and handling fee from $10 to $7.

NOTE: If you are looking for multiple prints for your office, living room, or other spaces feel free to contact me and we can arrange better pricing for multi-item order – email me at [email protected].com and we can arrange a special quote to fit your specific needs.

Scouting Trip: Ecola State Park

A couple of weekends ago my buddy Ryan and I took a quick trip over to the coast to do some exploring and scouting. I have had a number of people recommended Ecola State park and Indian Beach to me so we thought we would check it out. It was a beautiful drive over to the coast, most of the drive was sunny and the landscapes were covered in a bright white frost. The beach was really neat and I got a few ideas for some future images. Overall it was a great “scouting/exploring” trip.

Below are some of the images we took along the way:

Off to New York City

Tomorrow I’m heading off to New York City with my Wife Casey.┬áIt’s been a nervous week leading up to the trip as the weather on the East Coast, as you probably have noticed, has been quite dramatic. First with the hurricane and now with snow and Ice! I guess we’ll just see how it goes and make the best of things. Luckily we are getting ready for Iceland in a few weeks and have a lot of our winter clothes ready to go. Furthermore, we have done what we can to make sure we are prepared and have confirmed our rooms / rates / and transportation for the trip, it pays to be prepared (Casey gets the credit for the organization).

Here are some of the highlights we are hoping to see are:

  • Great Food! First stop NY Pizza!
  • Brooklyn Bridge
  • Time Square
  • Central Park
  • BH Photo :-)
  • Empire State Building and Chrysler Building

If anyone has any suggestions feel free to send them my way by leaving a comment or tweeting me! Look for some tweets, instagrams, from the trip and expect a write up after we get back. Have a great weekend!

My amazing wife

Today marks 2 years being married to my amazing wife Casey. I want to just say that if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be able to take the trips and therefore the photos from around the world as I have. She is the brains of the operation and keeps everything together from figuring transportation, accommodations, communications; she does it all! She is a wonderful person, my best friend, and some I look to for inspiration. I am truly the luckiest guy.

So here is a big thank you to my lovely wife!

Happy Anniversary.
